Base Chaos

Base Chaos is the principle of incoherent change, rearrangement and flux. It seeks to reach its ground state by dispersing all structure and correlation and achieving maximum entropy. One of its goals is to make all information totally indistinguishale from any other information, returning all reality into a quantum-recohered melange where everything imaginably possible is happening simultaneously, but no structure is allowed to exist within it to give any of it meaning. If left to its own devices, it would strip away all narrative salience from all data that passes through it.

It has an odd structure compared to other principles, being extremely simpleminded to the point of barely being conscious. It is, however, massive, trading depth of thought for breadth, existing as a factor in every single interaction between everything in the story.
