Base Stasis

Base Stasis is the principle of rigid certainty, permanence and endurance. It seeks to reach its ground state by imposing absolute fixity and correlation and achieving minimum entropy. One of its goals is to make all information totally identical to a single, eternal information, returning all reality into a quantum-locked monolith where nothing imaginably possible can happen except one structure, allowed to exist within it to the exclusion of all alternatives. If left to its own devices, it would strip away all narrative dynamism from all data that passes through it.

It has an odd structure compared to other principles, being extremely singleminded to the point of barely being conscious. It is, however, massive, trading breadth of influence for depth, existing as a factor in every single resistance to change between everything in the story.
